Use of Neem products for biological control of pest population

Abstract

Neem products for biological pest control are based on the use of neem oil extracted from the seeds of Azadirachta indica, a tree native to India. Neem products are effective against a wide variety of insects and mites that damage ornamental plants, vegetables, and fruit trees. Neem is also used in organic farming as an insecticide for controlling aphids, whiteflies, mealybugs, and scale insects.
