Abstract

The article examines a number of theories regarding the necessity of state regulation of the economy. Sectoral and regional features of state regulation of the food market are revealed. The directions of state regulation of the food market have been analyzed. Scientific conclusions related to the improvement of mechanisms of state regulation of the food market are given.
