ON THE HISTORY OF UNDERSTANDING THE PHILOSOPHICAL TEACHINGS OF THE PAST

The paper is devoted to a comparative analysis of the East and West cultures and, in particular, the initial stage in the formation of the philosophy of the European Renaissance - a remarkable era in the history of world civilization - through the prism of the line of continuity of the Muslim renaissance going from the East to the Renaissance of the West. The main attention is paid to the analysis of individual stages in the development of the Renaissance (XIY-XYII centuries), the characteristics of the works of its most prominent representatives, as well as the views of the thinkers of Central Asia of the 9th-13th centuries - the eastern peripatetic - successively adopted and assimilated by medieval and revival Europe.
