Abstract

This article provides a scientific analysis of the regulatory functions addressing economic and social disparities that arise in the process of regional development. The study identifies differences in economic potential, infrastructure, household incomes, and investment flows across regions and examines mechanisms aimed at reducing these disparities. The article highlights the regulatory tools that should be implemented in regional development on the basis of state policy, fiscal transfers, innovative approaches, and spatial economic models. The findings offer both scientific and practical recommendations that can be applied to ensure interregional equality, strengthen economic security, and achieve sustainable development.
